En una frase: tus juegos son tuyos, no vendemos nada a nadie y no hay publicidad. Lo que sigue detalla qué se guarda, qué sale de aquí y qué puedes hacer al respecto.

In one sentence: your games are yours, nothing is sold to anybody, and there is no advertising. What follows sets out what is stored, what leaves this server, and what you can do about it.

1. Quién responde de tus datos1. Who is responsible for your data

Game Collector Pal lo mantiene JavocSoft, una persona, no una empresa con departamento de privacidad. Para cualquier cosa relacionada con tus datos: javocsoft@gmail.com. El servicio se presta desde España y los servidores están en la Unión Europea.

Game Collector Pal is run by JavocSoft, one person, not a company with a privacy department. For anything to do with your data: javocsoft@gmail.com. The service operates from Spain and its servers are in the European Union.

2. Qué se guarda2. What is stored

2.1 Tu cuenta2.1 Your account

• Nombre de usuario y correo electrónico. El correo se usa para verificar la cuenta, recuperar la contraseña y avisarte de cosas de tu cuenta.
• Contraseña. Nunca se guarda. Sólo se guarda un hash con bcrypt, del que no se puede volver atrás.
• Cuándo entraste por última vez. Un solo dato, escrito en cada inicio de sesión. Sirve para saber qué cuentas están vivas; no es un registro de actividad.
• Preferencias: idioma, fondo, mercado de precios y país de entrega.
• Opcional: avatar, fondo de tu tarjeta de amigo y enlaces a tus redes sociales, si decides ponerlos.

• Username and e-mail. The e-mail is used to verify the account, reset the password, and tell you about your account.
• Password. Never stored. Only a bcrypt hash is kept, which cannot be reversed.
• When you last signed in. A single value, written on each login. It is there to tell which accounts are still in use; it is not an activity log.
• Preferences: language, background, price market and delivery country.
• Optional: avatar, friend-card background and links to your social profiles, if you choose to add them.

2.2 Tu colección2.2 Your collection

• Los juegos y el hardware que guardas, con su plataforma, región, edición y estado físico.
• Lo que pagaste, lo que pides por una copia en venta, y tus notas y valoraciones.
• Tus partidas: fecha, horas y notas.
• A quién le has prestado una copia y desde cuándo. Ese nombre lo escribes tú y no se comparte con nadie: si pones el nombre de otra persona, esa persona no tiene cuenta aquí ni forma de saberlo.
• Las fotos que subas de tus copias y de tu hardware.

• The games and hardware you record, with their platform, region, edition and physical condition.
• What you paid, what you are asking for a copy on sale, and your notes and ratings.
• Your play sessions: date, hours and notes.
• Who you lent a copy to and since when. You type that name yourself and it is shared with nobody: if you enter another person's name, that person has no account here and no way of knowing.
• Any photos you upload of your copies and your hardware.

2.3 Lo social2.3 Social features

• Tus amistades, las invitaciones que envías y las listas que compartes.
• Tus notificaciones.
• Tu estantería pública, si la enciendes: un enlace secreto que enseña tus juegos, sus plataformas y sus carátulas a cualquiera que lo tenga. Nunca precios, notas ni listas de deseados. Puedes apagarla o generar un enlace nuevo cuando quieras, y el anterior deja de funcionar.

• Your friendships, the invitations you send, and the lists you share.
• Your notifications.
• Your public shelf, if you switch it on: a secret link that shows your games, their platforms and their cover art to anybody who has it. Never prices, notes or wishlists. You can switch it off or issue a new link whenever you like, and the old one stops working.

2.4 Códigos de barras: esto sí se comparte2.4 Barcodes: this part is shared

Si escaneas o escribes el código de barras de una copia, ese código se aporta a un catálogo común junto a la plataforma y la región, para que la siguiente persona que escanee esa caja la encuentre. Es la única cosa de tu colección que sale hacia otros usuarios, y es la que hace que el escáner sirva de algo. Se guarda quién lo aportó; si borras tu cuenta, el código se queda y deja de estar asociado a ti.

If you scan or type a copy's barcode, that code is contributed to a shared catalogue along with the platform and region, so that the next person who scans that box finds it. It is the only thing from your collection that travels to other users, and it is what makes the scanner useful at all. Who contributed it is recorded; if you delete your account, the code stays and stops being linked to you.

2.5 Datos técnicos2.5 Technical data

• No se usan cookies. La sesión y tus preferencias viven en el almacenamiento local de tu navegador. Hay una página aparte que lo detalla, incluido lo que cargan terceros.
• Tu dirección IP se usa en el momento para limitar el número de peticiones y frenar abusos. No se guarda en la base de datos. El servidor web que hay delante (nginx) mantiene sus registros de acceso, como cualquier servidor de Internet.
• Cuánta IA has usado, por día: número de peticiones, tokens y coste. Son contadores; no se guarda el texto de lo que preguntas. Este servicio paga a terceros por cada consulta de IA, así que llevar la cuenta del gasto es lo que permite que siga siendo gratuito. Estas filas sobreviven al borrado de la cuenta, pero sin la cuenta: se les quita el identificador y quedan como contabilidad sin persona. Ver el punto 6.

• No cookies are used. Your session and preferences live in your browser's local storage. There is a separate page covering this, including what third parties load.
• Your IP address is used in the moment to rate-limit requests and stop abuse. It is not stored in the database. The web server in front (nginx) keeps its access logs, as any internet server does.
• How much AI you have used, per day: number of requests, tokens and cost. These are counters; the text of what you ask is not stored. This service pays third parties for every AI lookup, so keeping track of the spend is what lets it stay free. These rows survive the deletion of the account, but without the account: the identifier is stripped and what remains is accounting with no person attached. See section 6.

2.6 Lo que nos escribes2.6 What you write to us

• Si informas de un fallo o sugieres algo desde el formulario, se guarda tu mensaje, de qué tipo es y cuándo lo enviaste, unido a tu cuenta. Sólo lo lee quien administra el servicio, y le llega también por correo.
• Los datos técnicos, sólo si dejas marcada la casilla: la página y la sección en la que estabas, el juego que tenías abierto, el idioma, el navegador y el tamaño de la ventana. El formulario te enseña exactamente eso antes de enviarlo.
• Las respuestas que te enviamos se guardan con tu mensaje, y te llegan por correo y como aviso en la web.

• If you report a bug or suggest something from the form, your message, its kind and when you sent it are stored, linked to your account. Only whoever runs the service reads it, and it also reaches them by e-mail.
• Technical details, only if you leave the box ticked: the page and section you were on, the game you had open, the language, the browser and the window size. The form shows you exactly that before sending it.
• The replies we send you are kept with your message, and reach you by e-mail and as a notice in the app.

Ninguno de estos servicios recibe tu nombre, tu correo ni tu identificador. Reciben lo que dice la tabla y nada más.

None of these services receives your name, your e-mail or your identifier. They receive what the table says and nothing else.

Transferencias fuera de la Unión Europea. Los servicios marcados como EE. UU. implican que ese dato sale del Espacio Económico Europeo. Se hace al amparo de las cláusulas contractuales tipo y de los marcos de adecuación que esos proveedores declaran. Si esto te preocupa: el asistente Pal es la única función que envía texto tuyo, y no usarlo evita esa transferencia por completo.

Transfers outside the European Union. The services marked as United States mean that piece of data leaves the European Economic Area. This relies on standard contractual clauses and on the adequacy frameworks those providers declare. If this worries you: the Pal assistant is the only feature that sends text you wrote, and not using it avoids that transfer entirely.

5. Lo que no se hace5. What is never done

• No se vende ni se cede tu información a nadie.
• No hay publicidad ni perfilado con fines comerciales.
• No hay seguimiento entre sitios web.
• No se toman decisiones automatizadas que te afecten.
• Tu colección no se enseña a nadie salvo que tú lo enciendas.

• Your information is never sold or handed to anybody.
• There is no advertising and no commercial profiling.
• There is no cross-site tracking.
• No automated decisions are made about you.
• Your collection is shown to nobody unless you switch it on.

6. Cuánto tiempo se guarda6. How long things are kept

• Mientras uses la cuenta, tus datos se conservan.
• Al borrar la cuenta se elimina todo lo que cuelga de ella: colección, listas, hardware, partidas, amistades, notificaciones, valoraciones, logros y los mensajes que enviaste desde el formulario. Es inmediato y no hay papelera.
• Tres excepciones, dichas a las claras:
• • Los códigos de barras que aportaste se quedan en el catálogo común, pero dejan de estar asociados a tu cuenta.
  • Los contadores de gasto de IA —fecha, número de peticiones, tokens y coste— se conservan, y al borrar la cuenta se les quita el identificador. Sin él no dicen de quién eran: son una línea de contabilidad. Se conservan porque cada consulta de IA se paga a un tercero y sin ese histórico no hay forma de saber lo que cuesta mantener esto en pie ni de detectar un gasto que se dispara. Nunca incluyen el texto de lo que preguntaste.
  • Las imágenes que subiste pueden tardar en desaparecer del disco del servidor, porque hoy se retiran a mano. Si quieres que se borren en el momento, escríbenos y se hace.
• Los testigos de seguridad —verificación de correo, recuperación de contraseña— caducan solos.
• Los registros de acceso del servidor web rotan según su configuración, no se usan para nada más y no se cruzan con tu cuenta.

• While you use the account, your data is kept.
• When you delete the account, everything hanging off it goes: collection, lists, hardware, sessions, friendships, notifications, ratings, achievements and the messages you sent from the form. It is immediate and there is no bin to recover it from.
• Three exceptions, said plainly:
• • The barcodes you contributed stay in the shared catalogue, but stop being linked to your account.
  • The AI spend counters — date, number of requests, tokens and cost — are kept, and when the account goes the identifier is stripped from them. Without it they do not say whose they were: they are a line of accounting. They are kept because every AI lookup is paid to a third party, and without that history there is no way to know what running this costs or to spot spending that runs away. They never include the text of what you asked.
  • The images you uploaded may take a while to disappear from the server's disk, because today they are removed by hand. If you want them gone at once, write and it will be done.
• Security tokens — e-mail verification, password reset — expire on their own.
• The web server's access logs rotate per its configuration, are used for nothing else, and are not matched against your account.

7. Tus derechos7. Your rights

• Acceso: todo lo tuyo está a la vista en la aplicación, y puedes exportar tus listas en varios formatos.
• Rectificación: puedes editar cualquier dato desde tu cuenta.
• Supresión: puedes borrar la cuenta tú mismo, con tu contraseña, sin pedir permiso a nadie.
• Portabilidad: la exportación te da tus datos en un formato que se puede leer en otra parte.
• Oposición y limitación: escríbenos y se atiende.
• Reclamar: si crees que algo no se ha hecho bien, puedes acudir a la Agencia Española de Protección de Datos. Antes, si quieres, escríbenos: es más rápido.

• Access: everything of yours is visible in the application, and you can export your lists in several formats.
• Rectification: you can edit any of it from your account.
• Erasure: you can delete the account yourself, with your password, without asking anybody.
• Portability: the export gives you your data in a format another service can read.
• Objection and restriction: write and it will be handled.
• Complaint: if you think something has gone wrong you may go to the Spanish Data Protection Agency. Before that, if you like, write here: it is quicker.

8. Seguridad8. Security

• La contraseña se guarda como hash bcrypt, nunca en claro.
• Todo el tráfico va cifrado con HTTPS.
• Las sesiones usan testigos JWT que caducan.
• Hay límites de peticiones para frenar la fuerza bruta y el abuso.
• Las dependencias se auditan contra vulnerabilidades conocidas.

Dicho esto: esto lo mantiene una persona. Se hace lo razonable, no hay un equipo de seguridad detrás, y no se promete lo que no se puede cumplir.

• Your password is stored as a bcrypt hash, never in the clear.
• All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS.
• Sessions use JWT tokens that expire.
• Rate limits are in place against brute force and abuse.
• Dependencies are audited against known vulnerabilities.

That said: this is maintained by one person. What is reasonable is done, there is no security team behind it, and nothing is promised that cannot be delivered.

9. Menores9. Children

El servicio no está pensado para menores de 14 años, que es la edad a partir de la cual en España se puede consentir el tratamiento de los propios datos. Si eres madre, padre o tutor y crees que un menor a tu cargo ha creado una cuenta, escríbenos y se elimina.

The service is not intended for children under 14, which is the age at which a person may consent to the processing of their own data in Spain. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child in your care has created an account, write and it will be removed.

10. Cambios10. Changes

Si esto cambia, cambia la fecha de arriba. Si el cambio es importante —una función nueva que trate datos de otra manera— se avisa dentro de la aplicación antes de que entre en vigor.

If this changes, the date at the top changes. If the change is significant — a new feature that treats data differently — you will be told inside the application before it takes effect.
